Ilford Multigrade FB Classic Paper Glossy Sheets is a high-quality fibre-based darkroom paper. This is a paper designed for printing in a traditional black and white darkroom. Its heavyweight fibre base gives your prints a luxurious feel.

This particular paper comes in a glossy finish. Giving it a smooth surface that will boost contrast and make black tones pop and whites shine. It also has a white base colour and will give a neutral image tone to your image.

Multigrade FB Classic gives you rich, deep black as well as excellent tonal rendition. In addition to producing the superb quality you expect from Ilford photographic papers, it is very versatile and incredibly easy to work with. It is also well suited to toning, chemical reduction and retouching techniques.

Ilford Multigrade is a variable contrast paper, which means that it is possible to get the full range of contrast from your negatives. Simply use it in conjunction with a multigrade enlarger and you can print from grade 00 through to 5. If used without any filters on your enlarger, it equates to approximately grade 2 or 3.
