Negative Supply 4x5 Sheet Film Scanning Kit (ANR Glass)
The Negative Supply 4x5 Sheet Film Scanning Kit (ANR Glass) offers a fast, practical way to digitise large format film using a camera-based workflow. Designed to replace slower flatbed methods and costly drum scanning, it provides a simple and effective solution for capturing sharp, high-quality scans with full border detail.
System Compatibility Notes
This kit is designed to work with Negative Supply light sources including the 4x5 Light Source Basic, Basic MK2, and 4x5 Light Source Pro. It includes an adapter for mounting directly to compatible light sources, while also being usable with the Pro Mount MK2 depending on your setup. A light source is required and not included. The holder can also be adapted for scanning short strips or single frames of 35mm or 120 film with custom masking.
Why We Like It
Large format scanning is often where workflows become slow and expensive, but this kit simplifies the process significantly. The use of ANR glass keeps film exceptionally flat while minimising Newton rings, and the ability to capture full borders makes it ideal for both archival and creative work. It is a straightforward, no-nonsense tool that delivers consistent results without overcomplicating the process.
