This film holder has been carefully designed to give your negatives the best possible flatness during scanning. The unique S-curved track presses gently but firmly on the film to hold it steady and flat. It’s also shaped to block out the sprockets, helping you get clean scans without distractions or light leaks.

Unlike traditional clam-shell holders, the VALOI 35mm Holder uses an open design that lets you simply push or pull your film through. That means less handling, fewer fingerprints, and a quicker scanning process overall, especially when used with the VALOI Advancer.

Compatibility and Customisation

The holder is designed for standard 35mm film formats, but you might notice a small black border depending on your camera’s sensor size. If needed, the holder can be carefully filed down for a perfect fit, or you can switch to the Custom Series Sprocket Holder and crop your images accordingly.

Helpful Tip
