SpiderPro Camera Holster v3
The SpiderPro Camera Holster v3 is designed for photographers who rely on their equipment day after day. Made from CNC-machined aluminium, the holster offers a strong yet lightweight construction that can withstand years of professional use.
The holster features an ambidextrous locking lever which can be positioned on either the left or right side to suit your preference. It also includes a clever dual-position locking system that lets you choose between full security or quick access depending on your workflow.
Auto-Lock Mode automatically secures the camera as soon as a Spider v3 Plate Pin or compatible accessory is inserted. To release the camera, simply lift the lever and remove it from the holster. Once removed, the holster resets back into Auto-Lock Mode.
Quick-Draw Mode allows the holster to stay open for faster access. Push the lever upward until it clicks into place and the camera can be inserted and removed freely. When you want the added security again, push the lever back down to re-engage Auto-Lock Mode.
Spider Suspension System Clip and Pad
The suspension system is designed to remove the strain commonly associated with traditional camera straps. Instead of hanging from your neck or shoulder, the camera sits securely on your belt, allowing the weight to rest on your hips.
The curved design of the suspension clip helps reduce the movement of the camera while you walk, improving comfort and stability throughout the day. A leather scuff pad sits between the metal clip and your clothing, protecting fabrics from wear caused by constant movement.
This setup allows photographers to move more freely, whether covering a full day wedding, working on location, or capturing street photography.
The top of the suspension system also includes a built-in QD (quick disconnect) socket compatible with standard QD swivel plugs. This is designed to work with the Spider Shoulder Harness System, which functions similarly to a pair of braces, helping distribute the camera weight further across your body. On a dual camera setup, this system can also help balance heavier camera rigs across both sides.
Spider Camera Plate v3
The Spider Camera Plate v3 attaches to your DSLR or mirrorless camera using the standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount. Laser engraved centre markings make alignment simple, while anti-slip rubber pads help ensure a stable and secure fit against the camera body.
The plate also includes the stainless steel Spider Anti-Twist Pin v3, which helps prevent the camera from rotating under load.
For convenience, the hex wrench required to tighten the plate is stored directly inside the plate itself, so it is always available when needed.
Two integrated 1/4"-20 mounting points allow photographers to attach tripod plates or quick release systems without removing the Spider Plate, making it easy to move between carrying and tripod setups.
Spider Camera Plate v3 Micro Plate
The Spider Plate includes a removable top section known as the Micro Plate. This smaller plate can be used on its own as an Arca Swiss compatible tripod plate, offering additional flexibility when switching between different setups.
The Micro Plate also includes a stainless steel QD socket compatible with standard QD swivel connectors, including those used on the Spider Shoulder Harness System.
This section can also be used directly with the Spider Backpack Adapter without requiring a Spider Camera Holster.
When used with the SpiderPro Hand Strap v2, the Micro Plate slider provides a dedicated passthrough and mounting point. This allows the plate to maintain full contact with the camera body, improving stability during handheld shooting.
Spider Plate Pin v3
The SpiderPro Plate Pin v3 is manufactured from CNC-machined stainless steel and is specifically designed for use with Spider v3 plates. Unlike threaded pins used in earlier designs, this updated version helps eliminate the risk of the pin loosening over time.
The anti-twist pin is pre-installed with threadlocker to ensure a secure fit. Removal is not recommended unless the pin becomes damaged and needs replacing.
Compatibility Notice: This product is not compatible with Spider v2 gear.
