ELB 500 TTL Head

Lightweight head for use with the Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL lighting systems. Built to be as portable as possible and weighing only 680g (including 2.5m head to pack cable), this head not only packs well but is mountable in situations that would be impossible for a full-sized flash head.

The ELB 500 TTL Head provides fast flash durations for freezing motion, up to 1/20,000s, and can be used in conjunction with an ELB 500 TTL Pack for HSS up to 1/8,000.

Head comes supplied with a 13.5cm 80 Degree Reflector, Multi-Function Diffuser Cap and attached 2.5m head to pack Cable. If you need to position your head further away from the pack then additional cables can be purchased and daisy-chained together.

The ELB 500 TTL Head integrates a daylight balanced, 90+ CRI, dimmable LED modelling lamp that produces the equivalent of 50W of light output. The ELB 500 TTL’s Q-Mount (Quadra Mount) is compatible with a range of Q-Mount specific, super portable accessories. It can also work with any of your favourite full-sized Elinchrom light modifiers when used in conjunction with the Q-Mount to EL Mount Adapter Mk II.

The ELB 500 TTL is an incredibly portable and powerful battery pack (sold separately) combining 500Ws of power with a feature set that includes TTL, High-Speed Sync, Full Asymmetry and built-in Skyport / Phottix Odin II. Plus, with 400 full-power flashes from a single charge, and an Active Charge feature, the Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL is designed to empower the workflow of photographers both in the studio and on location.
