Turn the Lens Dial to explore 10 optical-style effects and use the Film Dial to add one of 10 colour treatments. Together they create 100 expressive combinations, ranging from gentle, nostalgic rendering to bold colour and experimental effects. Exposure compensation, white balance, flash control, macro focusing and two self-timer options give you further control before you press the shutter.

instax Expanded View displays a wider field of view and an on-screen framing guide, helping you watch what is happening just outside the print area and refine the composition before shooting. The camera records up to 3100 × 4128 pixels when a microSD card is fitted, with a 23mm-equivalent wide view available for still photography.
Relive the Moment Before the Click
With a microSD card installed, instax Immersive Movie records an approximately five-second, 24fps clip around the shutter moment. It preserves the movement and atmosphere that lead into the final photograph, and compatible clips can be transferred to the instax mini Evo app for viewing alongside the printed image.

Review the shot before committing film, then pull the analogue-style print lever to create the photograph. The printer produces a 62 × 46mm image on instax mini film in approximately 14 seconds, with up to 635 × 318dpi output from camera images. Choose instax-Rich Mode for vivid colour or instax-Natural Mode for a softer, classic finish; film development takes approximately 90 seconds depending on temperature.

The 4.46-inch TFT colour LCD has approximately 1.23 million dots and puts composition, playback, settings and in-camera adjustments at your fingertips. A built-in selfie mirror and dual shutter buttons make portrait and landscape shooting comfortable, while the Lens Dial, Film Dial and print lever retain the deliberate feel of an analogue camera.

Connected Creativity
Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connect the camera to the free instax mini Evo app. Print JPEG, PNG and HEIF images from a compatible smartphone, use the phone as a remote shutter, transfer printed and still images, organise memories in a digital gallery and install camera firmware updates.
Ready for Days Out
The built-in lithium-ion battery supports approximately 90 prints from a full charge and recharges through USB-C in around two to three hours.
