The FUJIFILM X-T50 places astounding 40-megapixel resolution and advanced image-making specifications within an exceptionally sleek and manageable body. Featuring an all-new Film Simulation dial, this camera puts boundless creativity right in the palm of your hand.
The X-T50 is a compact and lightweight body weighing approximately 438g, and features the back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel "X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR" sensor, the high-speed image processing engine "X-Processor 5, and a 5-axis, up to 7.0-stop in-body image stabilisation function. It is a versatile model that achieves high image quality, high performance and high mobility.
Thanks to X-Processor 5, the X-T50 leverages an AI-driven autofocus system to deliver consistent, tack-sharp focus. A variety of subject detection modes are available, offering extremely accurate tracking of animals, birds, vehicles and people.
The X-T50 is the first X Series camera to feature the Film Simulation dial, granting immediate, tactile access to Fujifilm’s iconic looks. For the first time, rapid switching between classic Fujifilm profiles and custom looks is prioritised with a dedicated control.
Even in low light, the X-T50 keeps your images sharp and videos stable with up to 7.0 stops of in-body image stabilisation (IBIS). Vibrations of the image sensor are detected and compensated by internal motors across five axes, reducing camera shake during crucial imaging moments. This enables comfortable hand-held shooting even in dark scenes such as night scenes.
FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a new, rounded body shape. While slightly larger than the predecessor X-T30 II model, the styling makes it feel small without compromising handling. The thumb grip extends smoothly outward compared to previous models, providing an impressive overall feel and grip on the body.
There are total of 20 "Film Simulation" modes available for X-T50 including "REALA ACE," which combines faithful color reproduction and crisp tonal gradations. You can enjoy a wide variety of color expression as if you were selecting a photographic film according to the subject or scene.
FUJIFILM X-T50 features a 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a 0.62x magnification ratio. The specially designed lens elements provide a high-definition live view, and includes an adjustable diopter control to provide a truly comfortable experience.
FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a tilting LCD, which offers enhanced versatility, particularly when working at waist level. The combination of tilting LCD and center viewfinder aligns the lens, camera, and photographer on the optical axis, for a more comfortable and intuitive image-making experience.
X-Processor 5 features subject-detection AF that is built using Deep-Learning AI Technology. In addition to providing incredible AF tracking and detection for human faces and eyes, X-T50 can now also automatically detect and track a broad range of subjects, which include animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains.
Fine adjustments can be made to Auto White Balance (AWB) by selecting one of three modes: Auto, White Priority, and Ambience Priority. Set to White Priority, white is more likely to be reproduced as white under incandescent lighting. However, when Ambience Priority is set, scenes will be photographed with the natural lighting characteristics of the scene preseved. Under incandescent lighting, this will generally result in images with warmer white tones.
6.2K movies can be recorded internally at 30P in 4:2:2 10-bit colour.4K/60p and high-speed 1080/240p are also available, maximising video flexibility.
X-T50 has a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000s. Use it with wide apertures in extremely bright environments for more creative options, or to freeze action at the perfect moment.
The Smooth Skin Effect, which automatically smooths the skin tone, reduces the post-processing workload required in portrait photography, so that images can be finished at an advanced level of perfection much quicker than ever before.
FUJIFILM X-T50 houses shutter speed, exposure compensation, and all-new Film Simulation dials on the top-plate. Together with the aperture ring on most XF lenses, settings can be checked and adjusted, even without turning the camera on, leaving you to concentrate on what matters most: making the perfect image.
The X-T50 supports the HEIF image format, which delivers 10-bit image quality in files up to 30% smaller than standard JPEGs. The next chapter in delivering high-quality results straight out of camera has officially begun for X Series.
Combining a highly flexible focal range with a robust and lightweight build, the FUJINON XF 16-50mm F2.8-4.8 R LM WR is the ultimate all-rounder for photographers who spend a lot of time on the move. It encompasses a collection of commonly used focal lengths within a weather-resistant construction weighing only 240g.
The advanced optical design offers improved resolving power, allowing for enhanced image-making performance in conjunction with the latest X Series cameras. A fast and accurate autofocus system improves subject acquisition speed, granting an excellent all-round photographic experience.
