The Negative Supply Basic Riser Mini MK3 Copy Stand is a compact, entry-level copy stand designed for film scanning with a digital camera. Built with steel, aluminium and carbon fibre composite materials, it offers a stable and affordable way to scan 35mm and 120 film in smaller workspaces.
This redesigned MK3 version takes design cues from the Pro Riser MK3, with a larger central column and a more robust head assembly for improved stability and camera support. It is designed to work with crop sensor and full-frame mirrorless or DSLR cameras, making it a practical choice for enthusiast film photographers, archivists and home scanning setups.
The Basic Riser Mini MK3 can be used to scan 35mm or 120 film with standard or short telephoto macro lenses, supporting lenses up to 100mm for 35mm scanning and up to 70mm for 120 film scanning. Its compact 9 x 9 inch footprint makes it easy to fit into a desk, workbench or small studio setup, while the fast assembly and disassembly makes it easy to store or transport when needed.
The large anodised metal central column provides improved rigidity compared with the previous model, while the hybrid carbon fibre composite and aluminium head includes an integrated 1/4"-20 camera mounting point. A steel base with black powder coating, stainless steel hardware and bolted-on rubber feet help improve grip, dampening and overall stability during scanning.

The Negative Supply Basic Riser Mini MK3 Copy Stand is designed for 35mm and 120 film scanning with compatible Negative Supply film carriers and light sources. It can be used with standard or short telephoto macro lenses up to 100mm for 35mm scanning and up to 70mm for 120 film scanning. It supports crop sensor and full-frame mirrorless or DSLR cameras, but is not intended for gripped cameras.
