Phottix Saldo 185A Air Cushion Auto Collapse Light Stand 185cm

Phottix Saldo 185A Air-Cushioned Auto-Collapse Light Stand 185cm

The Phottix Saldo 185A is a compact aluminium light stand designed for quick repositioning in busy studios and location setups. Its automatic folding legs open when the stand is placed on the floor and fold against the centre column when it is lifted.

Key Features

• Automatic opening and folding leg mechanism
• Air-cushioned centre column for controlled lowering
• Maximum height of 185cm
• Minimum working height of 63cm
• 60cm folded length for transport and storage
• 5kg maximum supported load
• Four-section aluminium construction
• 1/4in mounting thread

Fast Repositioning

Set the stand down and its legs spread into position; lift it and the legs retract around the column. This makes the Saldo 185A particularly useful where a light needs to be moved repeatedly without manually folding and reopening the base.

Air-Cushioned Control

Air cushioning slows the descent of the stand sections when the locks are released, helping to reduce sudden drops while adjusting a mounted fixture. The four sections provide working heights of 63, 103, 144 and 185cm.

Compact, Stable Construction

The aluminium stand weighs 1.45kg, folds to 60cm and opens to a 66cm footprint. A rubber base pad provides contact with the floor, while the two-tone chrome-and-black finish makes it easy to identify among conventional studio stands.
