The VALOI 360 Scanning Hood helps block external light from affecting your scans. This is especially useful if you prefer to keep the room lights on for better scan quality. With these hoods, you can maintain some ambient light in the room and create a more comfortable working environment.

Compatibility

• The 35mm version is only compatible with the standard VALOI 360 35mm Holder, not the Custom Series holders.
• The 120 version is only compatible with the VALOI 360 120 Holder.
• The Scanning Hoods can be used with any configuration of the VALOI 360, including those with the Advancer, Light Adapter, or just the holder alone.

Materials and Usage

The hoods are made from FDM-printed carbon fibre-filled plastic, giving them a matte finish that prevents any light reflections from bouncing back onto the film.

To use the hood, simply slide it onto the holder from one side. The attachment system ensures that the hood stays securely in place, even when you move the holder.
