Unlike flash, constant lighting provides a ‘what you see is what you get’ experience, making it easier to learn but offering unique challenges as you master it. In this session, we'll cover essential techniques to help you shape and control light, from understanding power and throw to using gels for creative colour.

All Nanlite lighting equipment will be provided.

About Your Instructor Christina Mitrea
Christina is an experienced photographer and lighting specialist. Working for The Flash Centre and supporting customers for many years, Christina has a deep understanding of professional lighting, the technical specifications of each product but more importantly how to adapt these creatively to suit all styles of photography. Christina has provided most of the images for the Flash Centre’s advertising campaigns and has an exceptional understanding of light. She has also provided technical support for many of the industry’s leading ‘lighting experts’ and ‘ambassadors’ for many years. Her teaching style is making the complex understandable and applicable.

Getting to the Venue
This event is hosted at The Flash Centre London, accessible via the London Underground. The closest station is Tottenham Hale, but for anyone arriving to London into Euston or Kings Cross, you can get the Victoria line to Seven Sisters and then walk a short 8-10 minutes.
