Newsflash: The Future of Lighting Modifiers, Introducing G-Capsule!
Innovation Never Stops with Phottix!
Following the worldwide success of the popular Phottix Raja softbox range, Phottix has launched a new series, the G-Capsule Multifunction EZ-up modifiers.
Phottix G-Capsule softboxes are the world’s first all-in-one panorama light softbox with patents that feature four modes: Softbox, Grid, Beauty Dish and Lantern. The G-Capsule range comes in 8 different sizes and variations, from round to parabolic, all with the range’s signature ‘one push’ release system and magnetic gel filter holder.
Patented 4-in-1 Modifiers
Four shooting modes: Softbox, Grid, Beauty Dish and Lantern provide versatility and flexibility. G-Capsule softboxes are perfect for photographers, videographers, and content creators alike, where this dynamic range will eliminate the need to switch between modifiers and streamline anyone’s live shoot workflow.
Eight Unique Designs – For Bowens, Godox, Elinchrom or Profoto
The G-Capsule series comes in eight shapes and sizes, including round, rectangular, strip and deep, parabolic variations for the most popular and professional lighting brands. Each softbox is equipped with an S-Type speedring for Bowens, Godox and more. The series is also compatible with Elinchrom and Profoto, where speedrings are available separately.
G for Gels!
G-Capsule softboxes come supplied with a magnetic filter holder and four coloured gels (red, yellow, green and blue) to adapt the mood and atmosphere of the work, dramatising any look. This innovative and patented system allows the change of colour gel filters in seconds, allowing the user’s creativity to flow easily.
Unique Lantern Mode
The softboxes come with a unique lantern modifier, that users can attach to deliver beautiful, even light with a broad wrap-around effect. Perfect for photography, videography, cinematography, live-streaming and event lighting, the G-Capsule is the ideal companion for the modern-day hybrid photographer.
Heat-Resistant Materials
Not only is the G-Capsule series incredibly dynamic in form and functionality, but the quality and professional build are not compromised. The white interior is manufactured using a superior heat-resistant material that can withstand temperatures up to 120 °C, while the gel filters can withstand temperatures up to 130 °C, making the G-Capsule a perfect choice to use with various high-power LED lights. While the fibreglass rods are light yet robust and durable and allow the softbox to be easily and quickly folded to save on storage space.
Strong ‘One Push’ Unlocking System
The series also benefits from an innovative ‘One Push’ release system allowing for an easy setup and fast disassembly, improving shooting efficiency and saving time during a busy shoot.
Pricing starts at just £139 inc. VAT, making the series an innovative yet affordable addition to anyone’s kit. The G-Capsule softboxes are available now:
