The Godox DP400III V flash is a fully equipped, super-fast and reliable studio strobe, designed for both seasoned professionals and amateur photographers. With the addition of a built-in 30W LED modelling lamp, it boasts increased brightness, enhanced energy efficiency, and improved safety for use in enclosed modifiers like snoots and Fresnel lenses. Its impressive 400Ws power output makes it an excellent choice for larger studios and when paired with sizable modifiers.
Despite its compact size, this flash encompasses all essential features expected from a studio monolight, including adjustable power, a built-in 2.4GHz receiver, slave mode, swift recycling times, and fast flash duration. It seamlessly integrates with any Godox flash, offering versatility. Available in various kit combinations, it caters to a range of photography needs, making it suitable for portrait, large Studios, groups, pets, schools, and more.
Capable of flash durations ranging from 1/400th to 1/2000th of a second, the DP400IIV strobe allows freezing motion and minimising the risk of motion blur.
With rapid recycling times of 0.1-1s, the DP400IIIV Strobe allows for more frequent shots. A programmable ready beep indicates when the unit is prepared for the next flash.
Featuring a 400Ws flash tube, the DP400III V flash offers a 7-stop power range (1/1 – 1/64 power) adjustable in 1/10-stop increments. The option to switch between decimal and fraction display adds flexibility to your preferences.
The DP400III-V comes with a built-in 2.4GHz flash receiver, compatible with GODOX 2.4GHz X Series flash triggers. This allows remote adjustments to flash power, on/off control of the modelling lamp, and compatibility with the Godox Flash app when used with the X2 or XPro II 2.4GHz flash triggers.
Featuring a Wireless ID function, the DP400III V allows assigning specific RF IDs to lights and triggers, ensuring only matching IDs can trigger the flash(es). This feature is valuable in crowded environments with multiple photographers using similar flash and trigger systems, reducing RF interference.
Utilising the Bowens S-Type modifier mount, the DP400III V is compatible with various modifiers like softboxes, beauty dishes, snoots, and reflector dishes.
The DP400III V caters to photographers in large studios using sizable modifiers or those requiring enhanced flash power. Available in various kit combinations, it suits portrait, large studios, group, pet, school photography, and more.
